On April 7 of this year, a meeting of environmental authorities was held at the Center for Retraining of Personnel of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the Sughd region, located in the city of Gulistan, to summarize the results of the activities for the first quarter and determine the further tasks of sectoral bodies in 2023.

After listening to the report of the head of the Department of Environmental Protection of the Sughd region Gufronzoda A.G. and other executives, the head of the Department set the task of correcting the existing shortcomings, summing up the first half of the year with significant indicators. It is indicated that in the areas of collection of fines and losses, control and analysis of inspection activities, the licensing system, the state of informal dumps and its constant monitoring, the timely and high-quality implementation of industry and state programs, the implementation of the activity plan during the ban on fishing in cities and regions, special attention should be paid to attention.
