The results of the competition "Protection of the glaciers of Tajikistan - a factor in the greening of cities and villages of the country" among schoolchildren were summed up                 

                                          

In the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the Sughd region, an event was held to present diplomas and awards to the Republican Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the winners of the regional competition.

This event was attended by the head of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the region Gufronzoda Aziz, the head of the Center for Environmental Information, Propaganda and Computer Programming Tilloi Gulrukhsor, the director of the Center for Additional Education of the region Sakhibnazarov Zikriddin, teachers and students of general secondary education institutions of cities and districts of the region.

In his opening speech, the head of the regional department of environmental protection, Gufronzoda Aziz, highly appreciated the active participation of students of educational institutions in the republican and regional Olympiads and suggested that they continue to work on further forming an active position of schoolchildren in the field of environmental protection and their participation in solving environmental problems.

  Then 9 students were awarded certificates of honor and cash prizes from the chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the prizes in 6 categories - "Best Film", "Best Poem", "Best Photo", "Best Story", "Best video” and “Best architectural work”. " and 23 students were awarded diplomas and gifts from the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the region.
