Training seminar on monitoring, reporting and verification systems (MRV)                  

                                          

On November 17 of this year, a training seminar on "Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) system for climate projects in Tajikistan" was held in the building of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. This event began with an introductory speech by the Head of the Department of Monitoring, Environmental Policy, Hydrometeorology and Cadastre of the Committee, Shukurov Isfandier. The seminar was attended by employees of the central office of the Committee.

Blagisa Petrova, an international consultant on climate change finance, made a presentation at the seminar on the topic "The importance of monitoring and evaluating climate goals in Tajikistan", which detailed and simplified the main objectives of this topic for the participants.

At the end of the event, a question and answer session was held, where industry experts gave specific answers to participants' questions.
