Watching a documentary film about a mountain goat (morkhur) in the hall of the State Institution "Tajikfilm"

                                                                                                                

As part of the joint cooperation of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the State Institution "Tajikfilm" on the implementation of the Comprehensive State Program for the Development of Education and Environmental Awareness of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, in 2022, a documentary film about the mountain markhor goat was filmed in the state nature reserve "Dashti Jum" (morkhur).

On October 22, with the participation of relevant persons, specialists and other workers in the field of environmental protection, a documentary film about a mountain goat was presented in the hall of the State Institution “Tajikfilm”.

This documentary focuses on the conservation status, distribution, habitat, population, biological features, limiting factors, captive breeding and conservation measures of the mountain ibex (morkhur).

The mountain markhor is one of the rare mountain animals of the Republic of Tajikistan, listed in the Red Book of Tajikistan, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and its relevant institutions are taking constant measures to preserve and reproduce this rare species in the mountains of our republic.
