Weekly meeting at the Committee                                                                

On April 3 of this year, the regular weekly meeting of the Committee was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, where the activities of the structural divisions and subordinate bodies of the Committee for the month of March were discussed.

According to the working regulations of the meeting, after the presentation of the analytical report by the head of the Department of Monitoring, Environmental Policy, Meteorology and Cadastre of the Committee, I. Shukurov, the Chairman of the Committee, Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon, analyzed the three-month activity of the industry, in particular, the progress of the implementation of plans and programs of the industry, other management documents by industry officials. The meeting discussed the issues of benchmarks for March, the holding of environmental actions in the first quarter of this year, work to improve the environmental condition of cities and districts, the progress of the work of the "Electronic Government" in the Committee, the revision and implementation of some industry directives and other current issues.

Chairman of the Committee B. A. Sheralizoda set the tasks of practical implementation of global initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan on water resources and climate change. It was noted that in the process of implementation and work in this direction, promotion and encouragement of activists should be carried out as necessary.

Taking into account the questions, proposals and instructions of the Chairman of the Committee, the relevant decision of the meeting was adopted.
