Week of skills improvement and familiarization with the activities of environmental protection departments of Sughd region          

       

               

On behalf of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in order to increase the level of knowledge and improve work, skills and abilities through practical training and familiarization with the work of environmental protection departments and subdivisions of the Sughd region, from October 31 to November 4 this year, state inspectors of the departments of the Main Directorate of Protection were mobilized to the Sughd region Environmental Protection in Khatlon region and Environmental Protection Management in Kulyab region of Khatlon region.

Employees of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in Sughd region have prepared a program for the successful completion of the introductory training. During the week, colleagues from the Khatlon region and the Kulyab zone worked with a number of industrial, water treatment, municipal enterprises, treatment facilities, facilities and landfills, as well as infrastructure facilities in the cities and districts of Khujand, Isfara, J. Rasulov, Spitamen, got acquainted with the tourist and recreational complex of the Main Department of Environmental Protection "Temurmalik Island".

Also, within the framework of the program, on November 3 this year, a training workshop was held in the meeting room of the Main Directorate with the participation of guests and heads of departments and experienced specialists of the Main Directorate.

At this workshop, important issues of the activities of environmental authorities were discussed, including the methodology for the correct calculation of damage fees in the field of protection of atmospheric air, water, waste management, permits for felling trees, the methodology for the correct calculation of the amount of damage in the direction of plant protection, the implementation of State and industry programs, other issues contributing to the progress of activities, which is used in the daily activities of employees of environmental authorities.

It should be noted that in connection with the event on the eve of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, the participants were presented with a report on the topic "The Constitution embodies the independence of the state and the sovereignty of the nation", which was delivered by the head of the Main Directorate.

During the training seminar, discussions, questions and answers were held, which was useful for both visiting colleagues from the Khatlon region and the Kulyab zone, as well as employees of the Main Department in the Sughd region.
